Chaetoglobosin J is a fungal metabolite related to cytochalasins that will inhibit elongation at the barbed end of an actin microfilament. Chaetoglobosin A is produced by Chaetomium globosum. Chaetoglobosin K is a plant growth inhibitor and toxin from the fungus Diplodia macrospora.
